CORRECTIVE SURGERY

Upper and lower limb deformities, both congenital and post-traumatic are treated. An in-depth pre-operative study performed using the most accurate and modern instruments helps establish a surgical plan to meet all of the patient's needs.

Surgical correction techniques use new, mini-invasive synthesis means and techniques. Multidirectional and derotative femur and tibia osteotomies are performed for axial and torsional defects. Radial osteotomies are performed for the correction of post-traumatic wrist deformities and corrective osteotomies of the proximal femur.

FIG.13patologie_13.jpg

Patient affected by a serious multidirection deformity of the upper limbs.

On the left valgus, femoral intratorsion and tibial extratorsion resulting in knee joint pain.

The patient underwent one surgical operation making all corrections to the deformity using double corrective osteotomy at the level of the distal femur and proximal tibia.
